Pool Leaking?

A leak in your pool will quickly remove salt, make sanitizing chemicals difficult to balance, contribute to ground movement, and create escalating repair expenses. Professional leak detection isolates every source promptly and outlines permanent repair procedures based on size, type, and location.

Ground Settling & Shifting

Vibration Over Time

Physical Trauma

Subterranean soil shifts and seasonal ground movement place intense structural tension on shell joints, skimmer throats, and buried plumbing lines.

Continuous pump cycles and mechanical vibration steadily stress PVC unions, return fittings, and equipment seals until micro-fractures develop.

Direct impact, tree root intrusion, freeze cycles, or hydrostatic pressure spikes can puncture liners, fracture tiles, or crack the concrete vessel.

Confirmed Water Loss?

If your pool lost more water than the evaporation in your bucket test, call us today. Our dedicated specialists locate concealed leaks swiftly and provide exact repair specifications.

Do a Bucket Test

Not sure if you really have an active structural leak or standard environmental evaporation? Use this calibrated five-step diagnostic bucket procedure to evaluate your pool with precision.

Step 01

Step 02

Create the Control Water

Mark Lines: Pump On or Off

Fill the pool to normal operating level at mid-skimmer. Using a clean bucket, dip into the pool, place it onto the top step, and fill so water inside sits a few inches higher than pool level.

Turn off auto-fills. For Pump On: let water settle and mark tape inside and outside. For Pump Off: switch pump breaker off, close spillways/fountains, allow water to still, then mark both levels.

Wait 24 Hours & Measure

Inspect the Equipment Pad

Evaluate Test Results

After 24 hours, measure water loss from marks. The inside drop equals natural evaporation; the outside drop shows total water loss from evaporation plus any structural leak.

Restore valves and run the pump. Check around the pump housing, filter tank, chlorinator, and heater for damp ground, and inspect waste-lines for leaking multiport valves.

If outside pool water dropped farther than the water inside your bucket, your system has a confirmed leak requiring professional electronic or dye diagnostic location.
